Privacy
The short version: this site collects nothing unless you send us a message, and then it collects only what you typed. No cookies, no analytics, no mailing lists.
What we collect
Only what you put in the contact form or the five-question contact wizard: your name, your email address, your message, and — if you use the wizard — your answers about the kind of work, team size, timing and budget. The message we receive also includes the internet address (IP) your browser used, which most mail systems record automatically.
Nothing else. Browsing the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from advertising or tracking networks. Fonts and scripts are served from eightbitco.com itself.
Where it goes
Your message is sent as an email to nick@eightbitco.com and read by Nick Tulip. It is not stored in a database on this website. The site and its mail are hosted by Hostinger, whose servers handle the delivery.
What we do with it
Reply to you, and — if we end up working together — use it to scope the work. That's it. We don't add you to a newsletter, don't share or sell your details, and don't contact you about anything you didn't ask about.
How long we keep it
As long as the conversation is live, plus whatever is needed for a project we do together. If you'd like a message deleted, email nick@eightbitco.com and it's gone.
Your choices
You can ask at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — one email to nick@eightbitco.com does it. You can also just call (904) 647-0983 instead of using the form.
Links to other sites
The site links out to LinkedIn and, on solution pages, to products we mention. Those sites have their own privacy practices; this policy covers eightbitco.com only.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions: nick@eightbitco.com.
